Accreditation Training Process

STEP 01:

Complete Free Insight Ignition Micro Learning Module

STEP 02:

Sign up for WCFM training

Complete the Registration Form
Pay invoice to receive access to the WCFM training platform (via Motiva / Talentlens System)

To proceed with the training, ensure that you have completed the Registration Form. You will receive an invoice* and upon proof of payment, you will gain access to the WCFM training on Pearson’s Motiva/Talentlens System.
* R3800 (excluding VAT).
Includes up to 2 free credits (1 Student & 1 Professional) to the value of R1200.
Please note: you will receive access to the WCFM STUDENT version for the purpose of this training. Once you are accredited, you will be eligible to expand your accreditation to include using the PROFESSIONAL version, should you wish to do so.

STEP 03:

Complete the WCFM training

Watch the introductory videos
Complete the Motiva Questionnaire, explore your results & do the exercises (+/- 2 hours).
Review additional Coach Training material (+/- 1 hour).

This comprehensive training program, on Pearson's Motiva/Talentlens System, will equip you to understand the WCFM tool (Student version) and its use in a career coaching practice. As part of this training program, you will:
- Watch introductory videos
- Complete the Motiva Questionnaire, explore your results and do the practical exercises (+/- 2 hours)
- Review additional Coach Training material, including videos on WCFM theory, the Motiva Debriefing Method and Platform Use (+/- 1 hour)
Note: After completing the Motiva Questionnaire, please log out and back in; this will allow the system to process your results. Also, note that the additional training is only accessible after completing the Motiva Questionnaire.

STEP 04:

Expand your professional accreditation (optional)

follow similar training as in 3. to be accredited in using the WCFM PROFESSIONAL version

Follow a similar process, as outlined above, to complete the WCFM PROFESSIONAL training. While working through this training you will focus on applying the WCFM in a Professional context (individuals with job experience) and will only need to work through the content that deviates from the student version.
- Scan through introductory videos
- Complete the Motiva Questionnaire, explore your results and engage in the exercises (+/- 2 hours)
- Review additional Coach Training material, including videos on WCFM theory, the Motiva Debriefing Method and Platform Use (+/- 1 hour)

STEP 05:

Use your free credits in practice (optional)

As part of your training, you will receive free WCFM credits (for both the Student and the Professional programs). This will allow you to gain hands-on experience in coaching candidates of your choice through the WCFM process.
Note: While it is not mandatory to use these credits in order to complete your accreditation, we highly recommend you make use of this opportunity prior to completing the final part of the accreditation training.

STEP 06:

Career Thinking with WCFM live module reflection

Return to Career Thinking Community to complete the WCFM accreditation
Join the online session, learn from others & gain support in making WCFM a part of your practice
Earn a Career Thinking with WCFM Accreditation credential (Credly badge)

After completing the WCFM training on the Motiva Platform and the test run of the program with one of your clients, we invite you to return here, to the Career Thinking community space, to engage in a participatory learning module on using the WCFM in your professional context. Here you will have the opportunity to reflect on your experience with the tool and to share your thoughts with other members of the community.
To complete your accreditation, you will need to attend the live Online Engagement session. In this session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain support in any areas you may be struggling. Be sure to sign up for the next Online Engagement on Using WCFM in your practice, by navigating to the Career Thinking community’s Events Page.
Note: At this concluding live session you will receive further information about WCFM pricing, opening a WCFM practitioner account and notifications of any future events or engagements.
After attending the online session you will be a fully accredited Which Career For Me practitioner! You will receive a credential (Credly badge) and certificate upon completion, to add to your professional resume and share with your network.

STEP 07:

Continue your Career Thinking Journey

Continue your professional development in the Career Thinking Community
Connect with other practitioners, share your experiences & gain professional support

Becoming an accredited WCFM coach is not the end of your Career Thinking journey! We hope you will continue to engage with members of this community, to share your experiences, learn from others and gain support in building your professional practice.
